Students watched the ‘Eyes on Owls’ program that visited. They choose an owl from the presentation, read about it on the ‘Eyes on Owls‘ web site, then created a very short Scratch project where the illustrated the owl and used the speech balloons in the ‘Looks’ block to tell its name, places it can be found, and foods that it eats.
